Centre for Academic Development (CADe) was established on 2nd January 2004 as a result of the restructuring of the Knowledge Management Centre (PPI) which was established in 2002. The establishment of CADe aimed to enhance academic quality and academic staff excellence of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). In 2023, with a core injection of academic leadership, CADe was rebranded to the Centre for Academic Development and Leadership Excellence (CADe-Lead).
To become a reference centre for teaching and learning development as well as academic leadership excellence.
