Objective of Contest
The aim of the contest are as follows:
To recognize the teaching achievements at the individual/institutional level as recommended by MOHE in PPPM (PT).
Increase knowledge and improve skills of the UPM academic staff in relation to teaching techniques and innovation in teaching and learning.
Spread and share the best practices of each faculty related to innovation in teaching and learning for the benefits of other academic staffs in UPM.
Encourage the utilization of technology and innovation in teaching and learning among the faculty members to boost students’ learning experience.
To identify and discover potential candidates among the UPM academic staffs for Anugerah Fellowship Naib Canselor (AFNC)/Anugerah Akademik Negara (AAN) in teaching based on faculty’s niche category.
The date of the contest is on 1st August 2018.
It is open to all faculties through CADe downloadable entry form. Only one entry per faculty is allowed.
Format of Contest
Each faculty have the freedom to present their innovative practices through presentation slides, posters, product demo and etc either in Malay or English based on their own creativity.
Facuties should focus on collective innovation in teaching and learning of the faculty in relation to the strategy, delivery, resources and assessments while highlighting the faculty’s niche.
10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of Q&A session are given to each faculty.
The presentation can an individual or few individuals among the deans, deputy dean or other academicians who has been chosen as the representatives.
Faculties are to prepare a video montage relevant to innovation in teaching and learning as a medium of advertisement.
Any faculty who wins will receive the following prizes:
1st Place - RM5,000.00 in cash, a trophy and certificate
2nd Place - RM3,000.00 in cash and certificate3rd Place - RM2,000.00 in cash and certificate
