Kursus ini memfokus kepada konsep, falsafah, matlamat, prinsip dan kod etika dalam bimbingan dan penasihatan. Ciri dan peranan para profesional dalam kerja menolong dijelaskan. Proses, strategi dan kemahiran bimbingan dan penasihatan dalam pelbagai peringkat hidup serta konteks formal dan informal dianalisis.

(This course focuses on the concept, philosophy, goals, principles and code of ethics in guidance and advising. Characteristics and roles of professionals in the helping profession are discussed. Process, strategies and skills in guidance and advising in various life stages and the formal and informal contexts are analysed.)
